Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work In the artist's studio by Sherree Valentine Daines for GBP 176.25 (€ 253.01). This price was achieved in the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sherree Valentine Daines achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forever Cherished in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,533.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit In the artist's studio von Sherree Valentine Daines für GBP 176,25 (€ 253,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sherree Valentine Daines erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forever Cherished im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.533,50).
