Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks are the First to Know the Warmth of Spring by Shi Lu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 109,563.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shi Lu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotus in Splashed Ink in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ducks are the First to Know the Warmth of Spring von Shi Lu kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 109.563,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Lu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64).
