Admittedly, works by Charles D'Oyly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pushkar, India, with a parade of figures, elephants and horses in the foreground in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,039.47).
