Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work The End Of The Operetta by William Russell Flint for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,312.86). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Russell Flint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Judgement of Paris in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 407,250.00 (€ 481,321.84).
