In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work Smolenskaya Embankment by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,027.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work A Square In Moscow was auctioned for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,177.84).

Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Art of the Soviet Union durch, in der auch die Arbeit Smolenskaya Embankment von Solomon Borisovich Nikritin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.027,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
