Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Roméo Sarfati Collection, which included the work Lapinture en relief - 1991 by Speedy Graphito. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,808.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Speedy Graphito - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Captain Spray - 2010, which sold at auction in February 2016 for EUR 37,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Roméo Sarfati Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lapinture en relief - 1991 von Speedy Graphito zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.808,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Speedy Graphito mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Captain Spray - 2010 beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für EUR 37.700,00 versteigert wurde.
