Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Mexico Contemporary, which included this untitled work by Stefan Brüggemann. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,637.08). Admittedly, works by Stefan Brüggemann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Mexico Contemporary durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Stefan Brüggemann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 34.375,00 (€ 27.637,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
