Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angkun Umum (Public Transportation) by Sudjana Kerton was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 83,649.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sudjana Kerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village Life in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,231,405.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angkun Umum (Public Transportation) von Sudjana Kerton wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 83.649,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sudjana Kerton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village Life im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.231.405,91).
