Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oranges by Sybil Andrews was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,376.00 (€ 6,192.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sybil Andrews achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Speedway (C. Sa 29) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,251.03).
