Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swans by Sybil Andrews was sold in the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,635.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sybil Andrews achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Speedway (C. Sa 29) in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,251.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swans von Sybil Andrews wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.635,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sybil Andrews erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Speedway (C. Sa 29) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.251,03).
