Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mallard by Terence Cuneo was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 16,575.00 (€ 19,765.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Terence Cuneo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Lickey Incline in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,751.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mallard von Terence Cuneo kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.575,00 (€ 19.765,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terence Cuneo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Lickey Incline im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 102.751,45).
