Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German Figures In A Landscape by Thilo Maatsch was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,643.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thilo Maatsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sonnen-Zeichen vor Blau (recto); Gebirgslandschaft (verso), which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,380.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit German Figures In A Landscape von Thilo Maatsch kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.643,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Thilo Maatsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sonnen-Zeichen vor Blau (recto); Gebirgslandschaft (verso) beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.380,46) versteigert wurde.
