In May 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Boulogne Pier by Thomas Bush Hardy. The result of GBP 400.00 (€ 457.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bush Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Margate Harbor in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boulogne Pier von Thomas Bush Hardy zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400,00 (€ 457,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bush Hardy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Margate Harbor im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.680,00 (€ 29.277,26).
