Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 199.75 (€ 326.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Smythe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The dining chair sledge in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 10,994.00 (€ 16,362.37).
