The work Calligraphy by Tie Bao was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 9,005.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Admittedly, works by Tie Bao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 58,975.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tie Bao kam im April 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 9.005,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tie Bao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 58.975,10).
