The work Poems On Plum Blossoms by Tung Chiao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,164.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tung Chiao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Literati, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 27,911.05).

Die Arbeit Poems On Plum Blossoms von Tung Chiao kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.164,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tung Chiao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Literati beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 27.911,05) versteigert wurde.
