Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Past/Forward - Part II, which included the work Femme au tablier (Variation originale autour du thème de la femme rose-croix) by Victor Brauner. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,930.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Brauner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indicateur de l'espace in May last year with an auction result of USD 945,000.00 (€ 880,626.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Past/Forward - Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme au tablier (Variation originale autour du thème de la femme rose-croix) von Victor Brauner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.930,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Brauner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indicateur de l'espace im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 945.000,00 (€ 880.626,22).
