In February 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings, Furniture & Decorative Objects, which included the work Paysage by Léon-Victor Dupré. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,239.00 55% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon-Victor Dupré achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weidende Kühe an einer Tränke in einer weiten Landschaft. 1849. in March 2019 with an auction result of CHF 36,500.00 (€ 32,631.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings, Furniture & Decorative Objects durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Léon-Victor Dupré zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.239,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon-Victor Dupré erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Weidende Kühe an einer Tränke in einer weiten Landschaft. 1849. im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 36.500,00 (€ 32.631,55).
