Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Biadan, from NB Cinetique by Victor Vasarely was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,247.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Biadan, from NB Cinetique von Victor Vasarely kam im Juli 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 840,00 (€ 1.247,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
