Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Il Vaso Di Terracotta by Vincenzo Irolli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Irolli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Meriggio in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 105,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Vaso Di Terracotta von Vincenzo Irolli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 18.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Irolli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Meriggio im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.000,00.
