Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Three Graces by Vyacheslav Kalinin was sold in the Russian Pictures, Icons & Works of Art auction at Christies in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vyacheslav Kalinin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-portrait with hang-glider, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 54,500.00 (€ 76,314.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Three Graces von Vyacheslav Kalinin wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Pictures, Icons & Works of Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.226,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vyacheslav Kalinin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Self-portrait with hang-glider beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 54.500,00 (€ 76.314,10) versteigert wurde.
