The work Fowl and Blossoms by Wang Xuetao was worth USD 137,500.00 (€ 116,782.74) to a buyer in July 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Xuetao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 3,186,000.00 (€ 368,242.66).

Die Arbeit Fowl and Blossoms von Wang Xuetao war einem Käufer im Juli 2020 USD 137.500,00 (€ 116.782,74) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuetao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 3.186.000,00 (€ 368.242,66) versteigert wurde.
