Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Ponies By A Farmyard Pond by William Mark Fisher for GBP 108.00 (€ 160.06). This price was achieved in the auction MARITIME PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mark Fisher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milking time in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,382.74).
