Auction result well in line with expectations

In December 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Willy Ronis: Unmissable and unpublished works, which included the work Ménilmontant, Vers Rue Botha Et Du Transvaal - Paris, 1948 by Willy Ronis. The price achieved of EUR 1,170.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willy Ronis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 26,650.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Dezember 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Willy Ronis: Unmissable and unpublished works durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ménilmontant, Vers Rue Botha Et Du Transvaal - Paris, 1948 von Willy Ronis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.170,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Ronis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.650,00.
