Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in New York held the auction Modern American Art, which included the work Barn by Wolf Kahn. The price achieved of USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,119.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolf Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atlantic Highlands in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 188,269.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Modern American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barn von Wolf Kahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.119,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolf Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atlantic Highlands im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 188.269,69).
