It achieved a price of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Wolf Kahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atlantic Highlands in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 188,269.69).

Die Arbeit Cornfield Below a Rise von Wolf Kahn wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.945,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wolf Kahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atlantic Highlands im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 188.269,69).
