Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Low Tide in South Harpswell by Wolf Kahn was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in May this year. The price achieved of USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,363.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolf Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atlantic Highlands in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 188,269.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Low Tide in South Harpswell von Wolf Kahn kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.584,00 (€ 3.363,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolf Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atlantic Highlands im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 188.269,69).
