Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wolf Kahn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April this year. In the Modern American Art auction, the work Orange, Yellow and Blue sold for USD 100,800.00 (€ 91,304.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wolf Kahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atlantic Highlands, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 188,269.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wolf Kahn erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern American Art wurde die Arbeit Orange, Yellow and Blue für USD 100.800,00 (€ 91.304,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wolf Kahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atlantic Highlands beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 188.269,69) versteigert wurde.
