A top price for Wu Changshuo - as previously expected
The work Flowers by Wu Changshuo was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 28,750,000.00 (€ 3,322,968.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000,000.00 – 30,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flowers is the most expensive artwork by Wu Changshuo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Flowers von Wu Changshuo wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 28.750.000,00 (€ 3.322.968,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000.000,00 – 30.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Flowers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Changshuo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
