The work Bamboo by Wu Hufan was sold in the Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection auction at Bonhams in Sydney in August this year. It achieved a price of AUD 63,960.00 (€ 38,167.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Hufan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verdant Mountains In Morning Mist in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 15,720,000.00 (€ 1,770,095.31).
