Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Wu Jingheng. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,558.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Jingheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,458.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Wu Jingheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.558,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Jingheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.458,71).
