Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xie Zhiliu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Flowers and Landscapes sold for HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 144,704.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Zhiliu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus Pond in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 16,340,000.00 (€ 1,626,686.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xie Zhiliu erzielte im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Flowers and Landscapes für HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 144.704,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Zhiliu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotus Pond im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.340.000,00 (€ 1.626.686,22).
