Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in the Style of Fan Kuan by Xie Zhiliu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 2,500,000.00 (€ 273,136.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xie Zhiliu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotus Pond in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 16,340,000.00 (€ 1,626,686.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in the Style of Fan Kuan von Xie Zhiliu kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.500.000,00 (€ 273.136,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Zhiliu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotus Pond im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.340.000,00 (€ 1.626.686,22).
