In the history of Zen, Yeno (Hui-neng), traditionally considered the Sixth Patriarch of the Zen seat in China, cuts a most important figure. The Bodhi (True Wisdom) is not like the tree,
The mirror bright is nowhere shining.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work New English Calligraphy - Zen Poetry III by Xu Bing. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,867.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00.
