Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Yang Xian was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,021.81). Admittedly, works by Yang Xian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Yang Xian kam im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.021,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Xian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twelve-Character Couplet In Clerical Script im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.468,23).
