Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Five-Character Poem In Cursive Script by Yu Youren. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,424.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Youren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Cursive Script in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,820,000.00 (€ 411,280.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five-Character Poem In Cursive Script von Yu Youren zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.424,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Youren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.820.000,00 (€ 411.280,89).
