Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mount E'mei by Zhang Daqian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 242,246.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Daqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape after Wang Ximeng in April last year with an auction result of HKD 370,495,000.00 (€ 44,795,542.37).
