Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Poem In Running Cursive Script Calligraphy by Zhang Ruitu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 26,290.00 (€ 2,737.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Running Cursive Script Calligraphy von Zhang Ruitu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 26.290,00 (€ 2.737,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
