The work Spring Blossoms by Zhang Shaoshi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,268.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Shaoshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,005.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring Blossoms von Zhang Shaoshi kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.268,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Shaoshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.005,84).
