This artwork by Zhao Shao'Ang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in December 2021. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center auction, the work Morning Dew sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,035.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Shao'Ang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Peacock And Red Persimmon in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 8,045,000.00 (€ 920,748.05).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhao Shao'Ang erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center wurde die Arbeit Morning Dew für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.035,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Shao'Ang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Peacock And Red Persimmon im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.045.000,00 (€ 920.748,05).
