Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Peach Blossoms, Bamboo and Birds by Zhao Shao'Ang. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,017.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Shao'Ang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Peacock And Red Persimmon in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 8,045,000.00 (€ 920,748.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peach Blossoms, Bamboo and Birds von Zhao Shao'Ang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.017,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Shao'Ang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Peacock And Red Persimmon im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.045.000,00 (€ 920.748,05).
