Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Qizhan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. In the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Fruits sold for HKD 163,800.00 (€ 19,683.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Qizhan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Album in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,298,000.00 (€ 152,747.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Qizhan erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Fruits für HKD 163.800,00 (€ 19.683,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Qizhan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Album im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.298.000,00 (€ 152.747,67).
