Trees as van Gogh saw them
The oeuvre of Vincent van Gogh, which has been the subject of countless exhibitions, still holds some secrets. New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art is about to reveal one of them: Beginning May 22, Van Gogh's Cypresses will shed light on the artist's unique depictions of trees.
When extremes meet
In the late 19th century, five painters moved to the suburbs of Paris to develop new painting techniques. The most famous of them: Vincent van Gogh. Beginning May 14, the Art Institute of Chicago presents rarely seen works by van Gogh in the context of his peers in Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape.
A unique sensory journey through Van Gogh projections
SoWa Power Station in Boston turns the most famous Van Gogh works into a sensory experience by projecting the paintings onto large-scale surfaces. Imagine Van Gogh is anything but an ordinary exhibition, but an art project that virtually brings the Dutch artist to life. The spectacle will be on view from December 21, 2021.

Eines davon will das New Yorker Metropolitan Museum of Art nun lüften: Van Gogh’s Cypresses beleuchtet ab dem 22.
Mai in Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape selten gezeigte Arbeiten van Goghs im Kontext seiner Kollegen.
Dezember 2021.
