Statement

With the regularly recurring rhythm of the Line, the theme Formation - F#  -  was createt in 2021 .

F# describes the movement and stillness of the Line(s) before form becomes perceptible.  Several subtly ground layers of white and color on fine canvas reflect an extensive grinding process that is absorped in perceptible simplicity and clarity, perception as a source of form.

With F# I want to trigger aspects of perception.

The line gives me a great fascination, it is not the line which has a beginning or an eind, or a line which is connecting between different points, or lines which ar forming a shape or causing a shadow, actually it is about the space between the lines which  continuos in all directions.

A line is made out of many dots but the speed of looking at makes it a line.
