About
Eveline Laing lives and works in Bottmingen, Switzerland. She studied photography at the School of Design in Basel, Switzerland. Her practice moves between photography, installation and mixed media.
Artist Statement
The work of Eveline Laing is concept-driven and rooted in a ongoing engagement with social, political and historical contexts. Projects develop through research, where existing narratives and structures are examined and critically reframed.
Working across analog, digital and experimental photographic processes as well as installation and mixed media, she translates complex issues into visual and spatial forms. In this process, perception is not fixed but shifts - becoming an integral part of the work itself.
