The line is at the center of my work. It is visual element, a connection, and an open form. Lines come together, meet, separate, and move on. Through these movements, compositions are created that form visual structures, pattern and tell stories, about you me and life. I work with line in different materials and techniques. Each technique gives me a new way to explore the idea. Changing materials is not only about changing how the work looks, but also part of a continuous process of learning, testing, and experimenting. It keeps the work alive and moving forward. Trying new things takes courage, while following the line gives me a sense of safety and direction in this process.
