shifting materials
My artistic practice spans across printing, mixed media, and sculpture/ arrangements focusing on material while exploring the relation between image and object. Material creates references to places and objects, it's tactile qualities evoke memories or stores them. I use layers of processes such as captured images and digital drawing to transfer texture and surfaces into works on grain paper, acrylic glass, wood or metal. Built sculptures and environments disappear once transformed into image, or remain real.
