Additional Details
The artwork 'mirrored' sets out a dialogue between painting, sculpture and photography. Based on my sculpture series made of raw marble and wax, this work becomes an abstraction of the original through a photographic and digital process which is an ongoing practice in my work. Using materials like stone, copper, bitumen, concrete, wire, wood, textile and wax, I try to challenge the material transforming it into a body, a surface or an image.
