About me
I'm an artist from Finland, specializing in concretism, and geometrical portraits (I'm also a PhD researcher focusing on childhood cancers). For the past couple of years, I’ve been studying visual arts for adults at Nurmijärven Kuvataidekoulu, in a program that spans about 3.5 years. At the beginning of this year, I also became the chairperson of the Nurmijärvi Art Association, which has around 80 artist members.
In my art, I'm fascinated by the border between two- and three-dimensionality, and how our brains interpret color shifts as depth—creating an illusion of 3D space.
I use simple shapes and structures to express emotions, thoughts, and fleeting moments—things that often can't be said with words. Just like basic molecules can build something as complex as a living organism, I believe simple forms can tell powerful visual stories.
