My maple wood sculpture „Longing“ combines the bold color contrasts of the original copper patina and thus a multi-layered, vibrant surface into an energy that reflects life's ruptures and possibilities. The fusion of relief and figure creates a space in which the abstract form bears narrative depth. It is a metaphor for departure, search, and refuge, encouraging encounter and transformation. "The Boat" is an assembled object made of thin bamboo sticks. The boat body is coated with a special graphite coating. The 12 vertical elements, along with the object, have a symbolic connection to Christian religious culture. The roughness in the floor area is represented by patinated copper particles. The effect of the dynamic yet fragile form as well as the aging appearance on the copper patination opens up space for individual interpretations.

With the object "The Raft," the artist takes up the theme of symbols of life.
The raft, made of burnt bamboo, floats on the river of life, laden with oak cubes bearing deep burn marks from the Japanese yakisugi technique. Mounted on a oak base . The archaic appearance of the mounted object leaves room for intercultural and symbolic references and reflections.

The object "remains" develops a powerful expression through the unusual material of charcoal and the mechanical as well as symbolic connection and interconnectedness of a patinated copper band enclosing the charred remains of a wooden beam. The contrast between a fragmented, isolated state and a connection that endures over time has great symbolic power and, at the same time, seems lost.

The sculpture "The Ark" is crafted from a single oak trunk. The single-piece construction expresses a solid connection with a base that dissolves downwards. The archaic, rough oak finish, fired in the Yakisugi style, contrasts with the shimmering gold openings with a rich gold patina.
